First updates on £5million travel plan

RESIDENTS who signed up for Thurrock Council’s Travel Thurrock project have been given their first update.
The council was given £5million of Government funding for the scheme, which encourages residents to consider their travel options around the borough.
The money, to be spent over four years, will enable the council to make improvements to the public transport system.
The first e-mail has been sent out and gave news about two new bus services, the 11 and 374, and public transport at Easter.
