A CAMPAIGN leader helped to canvas residents’ views to find out if there should be a national vote on whether Britain should remain part of Europe.
Mark Seddon, national spokesman for campaign group People’s Pledge, joined the Thurrock branch of the group for a day of door knocking residents for their opinions.
Helen Lambert, Thurrock campaign manager, said: “It was great to have Mark with us for the day.
“His day on the doorstep was a welcomed boost to the team. We are getting round knocking on everyone’s door and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.”
It is expected Mark, a former editor of the Tribune Newspaper will visit Thurrock several times before the polls close on April 5.
