Theatre Is busy with new projects

THURROCK youngsters are being given the opportunity to get involved in a brilliant theatre project.

Theatre Is is offering up to 30 young people, aged between 13 and 19, the chance to take part in three-day music, dance and rap workshops to create a short performance for the 125th anniversary celebrations of Tilbury Port on April 17.

There will also be a slam night at the Thameside Theatre in Grays on April 28.
