Fire crews stretched as another fire breaks out in Thurrock

The pallet yard ablaze.
A LARGE fire has broken out in a pallet yard in Chadwell St Mary.
Crews from Ongar, Southend, Hawkwell and Billericay had to be called to the yard, on Sandy Lane, as crews from the Thurrock stations were busy battling the blaze at Tilbury Power Station.
Initially crews were called because a lorry was on fire, but on arrival the officer in charge called for assistance after the fire spread to the pallets.
