THURROCK people are being urged to get walking with Weight Watchers.
The weight loss organisation is launching Get Walking Week next month, from May 18 to 24, to get its one million UK members out walking and inspire others.
Research suggests people increase their activity levels by wearing a pedometer as they raise awareness of activity levels.
Over 75,000 members benefited from buying a pedometer in 2007.
To find out more call 08457 123 000 or visit www.weightwatchers.co.uk.
To get involved visit a local Weight Watchers meeting at St Mary's Church Hall, Dock Road, Little Thurrock every Wednesday at 7pm.
