FIVE crews of firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze at an East Tilbury industrial estate this afternoon.
They were alerted just before 3pm to the fire in an industrial unit on the Thames Industrial Estate, Princess Margaret Road which is used as a magazine packing company.
Then crews from Orsett, Grays and Basildon arrived they found the ground floor of the five floor property well alight.
The fire was deep-seated within palletts of magazines, which are tightly packed together Fire crews used a total of twelve sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze which was extinguised by 4.30pm.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service is to carry out an investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
