WHAT a choice the people of Thurrock and UK will have come the next General Election.

Between the two main parties infighting and nothing but bad news coming from Brexit, there’s not much to be positive about.

Teresa May thought it would be a cake walk at the last election, but she’s came up well short and has lost the party’s majority. And £1billion was soon given in a ‘deal’ with the DUP party.

From memory I cannot recall that being done before, so much for democracy, the people of this country did not authorise this. This should never been allowed, show me where this was legal.

I for one cannot stop thinking, one way or another, the UK people will be paying again for political failure after Brexit, like we have over the last eight years because of speculators and greedy banks.

In my opinion with the state of this Government as it stands now, any opposition worth its salt should be light years in front in the polls.

Instead Corbyn has allowed himself to be seen as weak and his advisers do not seem to know how to win an election.

They need to convince many more then last time to get elected including the silent majority. All I know is this borough and the UK have suffered enough, there has to be someone out there who truly can give hope and honesty rather than the same old same old. Sorry neither on offer at this time fill me with confidence.
