A woman has been banned from driving failing to identify the driver of her vehicle on four separate occasions.

Margaret Chaulk, 52, of Bittams Lane, Chertsey, pleaded guilty to four counts of failing to identify a driver.

Chaulk’s Ford Transit was caught speeding four times between July 11 and September 17 2017.

These offences took place in Lodge Lane, Grays, and along the A127 in Leigh.

Notices were sent to Chaulk and she was unable to provide details of the driver.

Chaulk was then presented before Southend Magistrates' Court on Thursday August 2.

She initially plead not guilty in court and was due to stand trial but admitted the offence on the first day of the hearing.

After she pleaded guilty, Chaulk was banned from driving for six months, fined £600 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
