TASTE of Aveley Tandoori restaurant celebrates its 20th anniversary this week.
Opened by Wahidur Rahman on July 20, 1998, he and his team have been proudly serving customers locally, and from further afield, with authentic Indian cuisine.
He is a familiar face in the community and regularly donates prizes to the schools and organisations in the area.
Many of his loyal customers come from word-of-mouth recommendation and they’re not disappointed by the variety of dishes on offer.
These include well known favourites such as tandoori shashileek, chicken tikka massala, king prawn jalfrezi and various balti-based dishes.
Taste of Aveley also offers specialities such as chicken tikka lassani, karahi dishes, noted for their spicy taste, and another speciality, the mirchi special.
Taste of Aveley will be offering a special anniversary menu on Sunday, from noon until midnight, with a free glass of wine for diners. Booking is essential. Taste of Aveley is open every day, call 01708 689800.
