People found in the back of HGV at port
Police officers at the Port of Tilbury uncovered 11 people in the back of a lorry that had entered the port.
The incident took place yesterday, on June 11.
A spokesman said: "Today officers were alerted to 11 persons in the rear of an HGV that had entered the Port of Tilbury from Dover.
"All persons were detained and a handover was completed with Border Force."
