Photos show St Clement’s the pilgrims church dating to pre-conquest days. In medieval times it provided shelter and rest for pilgrims about to cross the river. We also have a rural scene by the Fox & Goose pub in 1914 opposite two shops providing simple necessities for households. Then there is trees and what appears to be a barn in London Road pre WW1. Lastly the dovecote at Hunts Farm 1913. *Photos supplied by Philip Edgar
