Second man charged in connection with stabbing which left victim seriously injured
A second man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Aveley last month.
A man was left with a number of stab wounds, broken jaw, nose, and eye sockets following an incident in Shannon Way near Belhous Park on March 3.
Lewis Dodd, 25, of West Street London E11, has been charged with wounding with intent and robbery.
He was due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 6 and is next due to appear in court on May 4.
Another man, Michael Thompson, 2, of Mill Lane Grays had already been charged with wounding with intent and robbery.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on April 27.
