A man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in connection with an incident at a launderette in Grays.
The 38-year-old man from Bushey, Hertfordshire, was arrested today (Thursday, February 8) and remains in custody for questioning.
His arrest follows an incident at Baylee’s laundrette in Southend Road, Grays, on Monday December 4, during which Paul Robertson, 39, of Milton Keynes, died from multiple injuries.
Police has previously charged Michael Williams, 35, of Old Farm Park, Milton Keynes, and Joseph Pearl, 28, of Charter Place, Watford, with conspiracy to rob and both are due to stand trial on Monday, June 4.
Two men, 24 and 36, arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary on Wednesday, January 31, have been released on bail until Friday, February 16.
A 39-year-old man from Grays who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released from bail but remains under investigation while enquiries continue.
