People living and working in the Thurrock District are invited to a public meeting being held by Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex to discuss community safety matters.

The meeting is being held at the Aveley Methodist Church in Shannon Way, Aveley, RM15 4LU, between 6.30pm and 8pm on Monday, January 29 Details of current crime trends and ongoing operations will be discussed at the meeting.

There will be a chance to ask questions and raise any concerns.

Roger Hirst said: “I welcome the opportunity to meet with local residents and I would urge anybody who wants to have their say on community safety issues in the area to come along.”

Jane Gardner, the Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, plus representatives from Thurrock Police’s Command Team, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the local Community Safety Partnership will also be attending the event.
