A man from Stanford-le-Hope was spared jail after being found guilty of a sex attack on a woman.
Dean Hackett, 45, Cannons Close, Stanford-le-Hope, was given a 20 months prison sentence but that was suspended for two years.
This was after he was found guilty at Basildon Crown Court on November 28.
In addition to the suspended prison sentence, he was placed on the sex offenders register, ordered to perform 30 hours of community service and also made to pay £2,700 in court costs.
