Tickets for the iconic Ladies Day at Chelmsford City Racecourse will go on sale today.

Organisers are still keeping the live music act a secret, but say all will be revealed in due course.

The fourth annual event will take place on June 21 and will feature the return of Heart Essex DJ Matt Mackay, who will be hitting the decks to keep the party going after the live music has ended.

Jill Turner, commercial manager at Chelmsford City Racecourse, said: “Ladies Day is the centrepiece of our year; it’s the event in to which the staff put the most time and effort, so we’re really committed to ensuring it is a success for all our guests.

"The tickets and packages going on sale is always an exciting moment, so we look forward to what Friday brings.

“Our hospitality packages, in particular, look set to sell out quickly – so we recommend getting in early on Friday morning to ensure you do not miss out."

There are several new packages this year, including gold enclosure and summer garden, while general sale tickets will go on sale at 9am tomorrow.
