Air ambulance lands at Port of Tilbury for 'male casualty'
A man has died from a cardiac arrest at the Port of Tilbury this afternoon.
The air ambulance has been spotted landing at the Port to assist with the male casualty.
The Port of Tilbury police were are also on scene assisting the ambulance service.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance serivce said: "We were called at 12.10pm today to a report of a patient in cardiac arrest at Tilbury Dock.
"A rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew, ambulance officer and air ambulance from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
"Despite their best efforts, the man sadly died at the scene. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends."
