A young woman who was found dead in her bed by her father died from a drug overdose, an inquest has heard.
The body of Erin Bushnell, 23, was discovered at her home in High View Avenue, Grays, on June 23.
Essex Coroners' Court heard how paramedics attended the property but her death was confirmed shortly afterwards.
Essex Police have not treated Miss Bushnell's death as suspicious but did investigate the circumstances surrounding it.
A post mortem examination revealed that she had died as a result of a drug overdose.
Erin's father had previously spoken to the Gazette in a bid to warn others about the dangers of buying non-prescription medication from unofficial channels.
William Bushnell believes his daughter died after taking Fentanyl she bought online thinking it was Xanax.
Coroner Eleanor McGann adjourned the inquest until 1pm on November 10.
