Severe delays on M25 and Dartford Crossing after vehicle breakdown
Motorists are being warned to expect severe delays this evening after a vehicle broke down on the Dartford Crossing earlier today.
Highways England has estimated that there will be at least five hours of delays on the Dartford Crossing north-bound.
Traffic is not expected to return to normal until at least 1am.
One lane of the Dartford Tunnel has been blocked since about 6.20pm and there are severe delays between junction three and four.
Highways England has advised drivers to allow extra time for their journeys.
