Police are appealing for information to help find a man who made off following a pursuit in Brentwood.
Officers engaged in a pursuit in Thordon Avenue, Brentwood at around 6.45pm today (Friday, July 14) with a black Peugeot 2008 believed to be connected to a robbery in Thames Haven Road, Corringham on Wednesday, July 12.
The pursuit continued before the vehicle came to a stop in a side road off Childerditch Lane at around 7.05p
The people inside the vehicle de-camped and made off.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Officers are looking for another man believed to have been inside the car.
He is described as white, in his early-to-mid 20s, with black hair which is curly on top and where a white t-shirt with no logo on it.
