A CRASH involving two lorries and a car saw two fire engines and paramedics attend a large port yesterday afternoon.
The accident happened in St Andrews Road, in Tilbury near to the port at around 1.40pm.
It resulted in a man being taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital as a precaution.
The ambulance service confirmed it had sent a rapid response vehicle, and ambulance crew and the Essex and Herts air ambulance, which was stood down shortly after arrival
A fire service spokesman confirmed crews from Orsett and Grays attended the scene to "make it safe".
