COUNCIL planning officers have approved the demolition of an empty warehouse.
The unit in Hume Avenue, in Tilbury is set to be flattened after getting the green light from Thurrock Council officers.
It will see work completed in phases, with a 20 tonne evacuator due to be delivered to help carry out the work.
Contractors will first be removing asbestos before demolishing and clearing the site.
