POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash that has left a driver with life threatening injuries.
A blue Ford KA was travelling on The Manorway in Stanford-le-Hope at about 10.30pm on Saturday, March 18 when it lost control.
It left the road and overturned. No other vehicle was involved.
Officers and the ambulance attended and the driver, a 32-year-old man from Stanford-le-Hope, was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
The road was closed between the junctions with The Sorrells and Giffords Cross Road until about 3.55am on Sunday, March 19 while forensic examinations took place.
Witnesses or anyone who captured dash cam footage are asked to contact Pc Mark Burey on 101.
