Man who assaulted police officer and attacked paramedic jailed
A MAN who assaulted a police officer and then attacked a paramedic has been jailed for 90 days.
Perry Hume, 27, of Arterial Road, Purfleet, admitted assaulting a PC and kicking a paramedic in the arm in Basildon on New Years’ Day.
Basildon Magistrates’ Court jailed him for 30 days for the drunken assault on the PC and 90 days, to run concurrently, for the attack on the medic. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation to the paramedic.
