Workers remember former colleague with fundraising
MEMBERS of a social care team have marked the death of a much- loved colleague by raising almost £1,000 in her memory.
Linda Chandler died last October and to mark her passing colleagues in Thurrock Council’s Adult Social Care team organised a variety of activities over the Christmas period. They have donated the proceeds to St Luke’s Hospice.
Among the events they organised were a ‘Guess How Many Sweets’ competition, a quiz, a cake sale and a colourful Christmas jumper day
