A RIDING school for disabled horse fans has moved to a new premises and is in desperate need of volunteers.
Sugarload RDA, a registered charity, was operating from a premises in South Ockendon but has had to move to a new centre as the old centre was no longer suitable for use.
The riding school will operate from the Foxhounds Riding School, Baker Street, Orsett from March and open times are yet to be confirmed.
It’s expected the school will open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am until noon.
Carleen Dallas, 52, one of the directors said the work is very rewarding.
She added: “We have had riders come to us and we have seen a real change in their condition.
“Being around the horses and riding the horses can really help people.”
