Firefighters tackle deliberate house fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a house.
The fire took place Araglen Avenue, South Ockendon, yesterday at 6.26pm.
When crews arrived they reported there was two seats of fire upstairs in the bedrooms.
Firefighters had extinguished the fire by 7:20pm. The cause of the fire is under investigation, at this stage it is thought to have been started deliberately.
The house has been severely damaged by the fire and is uninhabitable.
