Fundraising - members
A COMMUITY group raised £1,750 for charitable and community groups.
The Belmot Village Hall group held events to raise the cash.
The group then arranged a cheque presentation event after an annual meeting at the hall in Parker Road, Grays.
The cheques were presented by the halls trustees at the meeting.
The groups that benefitted this year include Belmot Child Care which received £200, The Great Ormond Street Hospital which received £100.
