A CHARITY raised more than £1000 at an annual fundraising event.
The Help Poor and Disabled Society held an annual general meeting and fundraiser at the Drake Community Centre, Drake Road, Chafford Hundred. The new organisation raised a £1.100 on the night some of which was donated to Essex charities.
These vital funds will help vulnerable adults and children in both India and the UK to have better lives.
Mohinder Samara, charity chairman presented the cheques.
