A man was rushed to hospital with a suspected broken pelvis following a road accident in Orsett yesterday.
Emergency services were called to reports of a van leaving a road and overturning in a field at Farm Road in Orsett at 3.30am.
The victim suffered a suspected broken pelvis and broken leg in the incident and was seen to by two ambulance crews.
He was taken by land ambulance to Royal London Hospital for further treatment.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust dispatched an ambulance crew, ambulance officer, volunteer doctor and London Air Ambulance to the scene.
The air ambulance medics also travelled with the patient en route to hospital.
