Firefighters battled a five vehicle fire at a lorry park in Tilbury last night.
Four fire crews raced to extinguish a fire that had spread over four tractor units with trailers and one van, said to have started from an overheated engine in the van.
The incident took place at 3.15am in the morning at Tilbury Docks and the fire was put out by 4.31am.
Crews from Grays, Orsett and Corringham used three main jets and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
This incident has been recorded as accidental.
Essex Ambulance service was called to the fire, but a spokesman for the service said no-one required treatment or was hurt in the fire.
