Police hope members of the public can help trace these motorcyclists who are causing havoc on the county's roads with antisocial behaviour and dangerous riding.

Road policing officers have to date been unable to trace their riders and need help from members of the public who may recognise them or the bikes they’re riding.

Most of the motorcyclists are riding on false plates.

Adam Pipe, casualty reduction manager at Essex Police, said: “These offenders blight the communities of Essex. Their actions result in high risk of harm to themselves and other innocent road users and we can’t allow them to continue using our roads in this way.

“We receive numerous reports of anti-social riding from members of the public who are understandably frustrated about the impact this behaviour is having on their community life.

“We take these reports very seriously and are continually working to make the roads a safer place.

"However we’ve been unable to trace these riders because they are riding on false plates and need your help to bring them to justice and mitigate the risk they pose to road users.

“I understand it’s difficult to identify the riders from these images but any information you may have about where they are being ridden and stored will help.”

Anyone who recognises the bikes and knows where they are being ridden or has information about the identity of the people on the bikes and their whereabouts is asked to email driving.complaints@essex.pnn.police.uk

Anyone who would rather not speak to directly to police and wishes to remain anonymously can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
