THE fifth Thurrock Art Trail is being launched this summer.
This year the celebration of visual arts all over the borough will be spread over various venues between July 9 and 24, to showcase “professional and amateur artists working in Thurrock.”
Any visual medium fits the bill, including painters, sculptors, photographers, textile artists, potters, ceramicists, film and video makers, woodworkers, creators of assemblage and mixed media, said organisers.
Patricia Douglas said: “Thurrock Art Trail needs them all!”
To get involved or offer a shop, church, hall, pub or café as an exhibition gallery space, email info@thurrockarttrail.org.uk.
People wishing to take part should get in touch before the group’s next meeting on May 8 at 3pm at the Swan Gallery in Horndon-on-the-Hill.
