TRAIN operator c2c teamed up with passengers to donate over £650 to the local Basildon and Thurrock branch of the Samaritans.
c2c donated over £450 to the charity, after employees picked it following the company’s annual staff survey.
£1 was donated for each employee who responded, and a further £225 was donated by generous c2c passengers at Grays and Pitsea stations.
Samaritans volunteers along with c2c and NCP car park staff ran the collection drive.
