A FORMER Thurrock Councillor has been re-bailed again following his arrest on suspicion of possession of indecent images of children.
Terry Brookes, 58, from Grays, resigned from his post as Labour councillor for the West Thurrock and South Stifford ward last year, shortly before he was arrested by police in August.
He answered police bail on Thursday, before being re-bailed until May pending further investigations.
Mr Brookes and his wife put the property in Grays they were living in up for sale in the summer.
Mr Brookes was publically removed from his post as portfolio holder for public protection by council leader John Kent on July 22, and on August 4 he was suspended by the Labour head office.
