Took on the best – Yamaguchi Goju-Kai Grays club members
MARTIAL ARTS: Yamaguchi Goju-Kai Grays Dojo club have two national champions.
Sasha Edgeler won gold in kata and kumite while Owen Dixie won gold in kata at the English Kyu Grade Championships at Ponds Forge Arena, in Sheffield.
More than 940 competitors from 80 clubs took part with we had nine students competing from Grays.
Other successes came from Emma Westcott who won silver in kata and Danielle Ball who won bronze in kata and kumite.
