A MAN was threatened with a knife and had his car stolen in a robbery in East Tilbury.

A man in his 20s was approached by two men whilst standing outside his car, a Red Honda Civic, which was parked in the road, at around 9.30pm on Sunday, January 17 in Gloucester Avenue.

They pushed a sharp object, which the victim believed to have been a knife, into his lower back and then threatened him into handing over his car keys. The suspects then also took the victim’s mobile phone and removed his wallet from his back pocket and pushed him forwards. They then got his car and drove away. The car’s registration was R382 NDC.

The victim was not hurt.
