THREE men have been arrested after a serious attack on a man in Grays.
Police were called to the High Street, near to Paddy Power bookmakers, just before midnight on Wednesday, December 23 after reports a man had been assaulted and was laying on the pavement.
The man, who is in his 40s, was taken to Queens Hospital in London where he remains.
Officers arrested two local men, aged 27 and 28, on December 24.
They have been bailed to February 5 pending further enquiries.
The third man, aged 28 and from Hornchurch, was arrested this morning, (December 27). He remains in custody being questioned by detectives.
