FASHION brand H&M has returned to a Southend shopping centre with a twist.
The chain cut the red tape at the Royals this morning following a two-year absence from the shopping centre, where it closed a store between Christmas and New Year 2013, along with one of two stores on the High Street.
In contrast to its fashion shop in the former Woolworths on the High Street, the new store stocks home, beauty and womenswear.
In late 2013, when the previous stores closed, the company claimed it was to “create one Southend H&M shopping destination, making it easier and a more convenient shopping experience for our customers.”
The company did not respond in September when asked what had changed its attitude.
