COMEDIAN Jack Whitehall joined Jamie Oliver on Southend Pier today to film the latest episode in his TV show.
The Bad Education star and co-writer joined Jamie in his pier cafe for the latest instalment of Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast.
The show features a different celebrity joining Jamie and childhood friend Jimmy Doherty, with David Tennant joining them last week, and has been filmed on Southend Pier for a number of years.
Jamie also dropped in on his aunt and uncle's restaurant Oliver’s on the Beach, on Western Esplanade, while filming on Tuesday.
Colin, 50, said: “It’s just really great to see him as always, we’re all a very close family and he’s a great guy, a great nephew.
“He’s coming to have dinner with us one night this week at Oliver’s on the Beach and on Tuesday was just taking driving around Southend taking pictures of the town.”
Jamie, from Clavering, claims to have been conceived under Southend Pier.
