Massive Purfleet regeneration plans take step closer as London Quadrant named as partner
PLANS for Europe’s largest film studio in Purfleet, and massive town regeneration, took a step closer this week as Thurrock Council revealed the name of its funding partner.
London & Quadrant, a housing association group with a great deal of commercial success, has been named as the developer in the scheme.
The high profile bid promises to deliver more than 2,300 new homes and a state-of-the-art media complex around a new town centre with primary school, health centre and local shops and facilities.
Subject to approval, work is estimated to begin in summer 2017.
