POPULAR ska band the Titans will be bringing the spirit of the Caribbean to Stanford-le-Hope this weekend.
The band’s coming heralds the second instalment of 50 Shades of Reggae at the Welcome Club.
Taking a traditional approach to their music, the band have promised reggae fans dancing and singing to top tunes from the likes of Dandy Livingstone, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Cliff and Max Romeo.
Support will come from Stanford favourites the Start, an offshoot of P45, with a lively set of mod and ska tunes.
DJ Ska’n’Mash will also be stitching the night together with classic tunes of reggae , ska and dub selections.
The Welcome Club is open to non-members, has a cheap queue bar and a lat e Sunday licence till midnight.
