Firecrews called to tackle wild fire in two fields in South Ockendon
Two Grays firecrews are tackling a wild fire in two fields in South Ockendon.
Crews were called to the scene in Humber Avenue just after 1pm today and currently remain on the scene battling the flames.
The incident commander on the scene has reported that the fire covers and area of 20 by 20 metres and there is concern it could spread and affect adjacent gardens.
