Update 6pm: The route is now reopen with most services running as normal. Some trains will be operating with less carriages. Tickets are still valid for Greater Anglia services.
EMERGENCY services are dealing with an incident near Grays train station after a person died when they were hit by a train.
There are delays on all c2c services running through the station. Replacement bus services have been ordered between Purfleet and Pitsea via Grays and between Upminster and Grays between Ockendon.
A shuttle train service is in operation between Barking and Purfleet via Rainham, and Ockendon route trains are being diverted via Basildon.
Tfl bus route 370 is accepting c2c tickets between Upminster and Lakeside via South Ockendon.
Greater Anglia are accepting c2c tickets on all routes.
