A DANCE group which made it to the semi-final of TV’s Britain’s Got Talent, is set to perform for the Queen.
IMD Legion, which has India Maynard-Cooney, 12, and Alice Routledge, 14 – both students at Gable Hall School – in its ranks, has been invited to perform for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on Thursday during their visit to Barking and Dagenham for the borough’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The dancers got to the live semifinal week of Britain’s Got Talent and became one of the most talked about street dance groups in the country.
IMD Legion, based in east London, has 23 members, aged between nine and 18.
The group has been formed for just over four years. For more information, visit imdlegion.com
