A motorcyclist is in a life-threatening condition after being involved in a crash in Orsett last night.

The accident, involving a black Suzuki motorbike, happened in Stanford Road at about 8.20pm last night.

The injured rider, a 27-year-old man, has been taken to Royal London Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries to his chest and legs.

He remains in a critical but stable condition.

Officers from Essex Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who was in Stanford Road, near the Orsett Cock roundabout, at the time.
