Two men and a boy have been arrested on suspicion of theft, going equipped and possession of an offensive weapon thanks to police dog Rhianna.
The German Shepherd and her handler Sgt Jamie Edwards were called to reports of a van being broken into in Laird Avenue, Grays in the early hours of Saturday, June 20.
The duo searched the area before Rhianna led her handler to an outbuilding in a garden.
A 20-year-old man from Tilbury and a 19-year-old man from Grays were arrested on suspicion of theft, going equipped and possession of an offensive weapon. A 14-year-old boy from Tilbury was arrested on suspicion of theft.
