ACHARITY for children is hoping people will vote for it to keep giving lunches when school is shut.
Thurrock Lunch Club, which works with five primary schools in the Grays area, was set up to give children meals out of term time.
The club has applied for £5,000 from the Aviva Community Fund “in response to an ever-increasing hunger gap in an expanding borough”.
It will only win the cash if enough people vote online.
The club is held at Socketts Heath Baptist Church. To vote, visit: thurrocklunch.
