Hardman could do little to stop the attacking play of Hannan and a run of 54 gave the youngster his first CIU title at the tender age of 20. Hannan now holds the Blackburn and Darwen Individual Championship as well as this.

The following night the Hannan road show moved onto St Pauls Club where Jonny and partner Mark Slattery were bidding to regain the pairs championship they lost last year.

Frame two was more of the same, this time a run of 45 from Hannan being enough to increase the lead. Frame three saw the Hollins pairing show what they can do and solid play from both youngsters cut the deficit to just one frame.
