FIREFIGHTERS were called to the same bin shed in Laindon twice in one night following arson attacks.
Two crews from Basildon were called to Great Oxcroft just before 8.50pm yesterday and extinguished the blaze by 9pm.
However, they were then called back to the same bin shed ten minutes later, when it was deliberately set alight for the second time.
This fire was put out by 9.20pm.
An Essex Police spokesman confirmed the force was called out to Great Oxcroft after receiving reports of the fires.
She added: "The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Essex Police on 101."
